Ledyard police said they've arrested a man who lit a small charcoal grill inside his apartment and endangered his neighbors.
Forty-year-old Abebe Jano was charged by police Monday after two people in the building became ill. Jano is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment.
Police said the grill created dangerous carbon monoxide levels in the apartment building. Two residents were taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Abebe has been released on a $500 bond.
