Frozen Meat in Luggage Leads to Cocaine Bust at JFK: Feds

An arriving passenger at JFK was carrying frozen meat with a most unusual stuffing, more than seven pounds of cocaine, federal authorities said.

Customs agents noticed that a man who just arrived at JFK from Trinidad last month had three large packages of frozen meat in his luggage.  When the agents checked further, they found cocaine hidden inside the meat.

The passenger was arrested on federal narcotics smuggling charges.
