A toddler was struck and killed by a pickup truck in the parking lot of a Rockland County apartment complex Friday morning, police say.
The 20-month-old boy was hit outside the Lottie Gardens apartment complex on Rose Avenue in Spring Valley where he lives with his family. Police said the child's parents were there at the time.
The 33-year-old truck driver remained at the scene and called 911. He was questioned by police and released.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
