A 12-year-old boy was seriously hurt when he was hit by a car while riding his bike in Brooklyn Wednesday, authorities say.
Police say the boy was traveling west on Cortelyou Road when he was hit by a 24-year-old driver traveling north on Dahill Road shortly before 8 a.m.
The driver stayed at the scene. The boy was taken to a hospital with head trauma.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
