Central Park Hits 90 Degrees For First Time Since September

It comes a day after the temperature in the park climbed to 88 degrees

It hit 90 degrees in Central Park for the first time since September, Storm Team 4 said. 

The mercury climbed above the 90-degree mark sometime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., marking the first time Manhattan had seen conditions that warm since Sept. 1, Storm Team 4 says.

It comes a day after the temperature in the park climbed to 88 degrees. Other areas saw highs above 90. 

The warm weather, which comes a little more than a week after temperatures struggled to climb out of the 40s and 50s.

The warm weather should stick around through the Memorial Day weekend, too. Storm Team 4 said highs should climb into the mid and upper 80s through Sunday. Monday, it'll still be warm with highs climbing to the low 80s.
