Six people were hurt when a violent T-bone crash sent a car hurtling onto a sidewalk and against a house at a popular intersection in Astoria, Queens, Friday night, fire officials said.
Sources say a Toyota going westbound on 20th Road was entering the intersection at Steinway Street at about 6:30 p.m. -- and that's when a Subaru going northbound on Steinway collided with it.
The crash sent the Toyota flying toward a house on a nearby corner, hitting two pedestrians along the way.
Both drivers and the passengers in each of the cars were taken to Elmhurst Hospital, along with the pedestrians, police said. The pedestrians were both conscious.
The FDNY said four people were seriously hurt, and two others had minor injuries.
Witnesses said the Subaru was a ride-share car with livery plates, though police haven't confirmed that, and that two passengers were in it. They appeared to be fine, witnesses said.

No on appeared to be home in the building the Toyota hit. The siding was shredded from the crash, exposing brick.
