Three people were killed after a mid-sized sedan collided with a tree in New Jersey early Saturday morning, according to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
A 2006 Chevy Malibu slammed into a tree near Tremont Avenue in Orange just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, authorities said. All of the occupants were killed.
The identity of the victims is currently unknown, officials said.
The investigation is ongoing.
