A car plowed through the front of an open supermarket on Long Island Thursday evening.
It's not clear what caused the driver to lose control as the vehicle crashed into the store at 1960 Deer Park Ave. in Deer Park.
The driver and a passenger were removed from the car by emergency responders with non-life threatening injuries.
No customers were injured, police said.
