A car crashed into a storefront in the Bronx Monday, injuring eight people, authorities said.
According to the FDNY, the car drove into the storefront at 1454 East Avenue in Parkchester just before 11:30 a.m.
Five people in serious but stable condition were taken to a local hospital, three others were being treated for minor injuries, officials said.
What caused the driver to crash into the storefront remains unclear.
