A Nassau County cafe worker was accused of stabbing a man with a kitchen knife Sunday at a Hempstead eatery, police said.
Elsa Marina Saravia-Martinez, 34, an employee of Miranda's River Cafe, allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen at about 3:30 a.m. at the Fulton Avenue restaurant, police said.
The victim, whose identity wasn't disclosed by police, was taken by a private vehicle to a hospital where he underwent surgery and was listed in stable condition.
Nassau County detectives arrested Saravia-Martinez at her residence and charged her with attempted murder, first-degree assault and possession of a dangerous weapon, officials said.
