Queens High School Students Injured in Ohio Bus Crash

Several children and adults suffered minor injuries after a charter bus carrying students from a Queens high school overturned in central Ohio.

The students from William Cullen Bryant High School in Long Island City were heading back from a robotics competition in Missouri Sunday morning when the bus turned over on a ramp traveling from I-70 eastbound to I-270.

Police did not immediately release a cause for the accident, but a dispatcher said it was raining heavily at the time.

The injured were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated and released.

By Sunday afternoon, the students were on a bus on their way back to New York City and their parents had been notified of the accident.
