Suspect Breaks Man's Nose, Eye Socket on MTA Bus in Possible Race-Based Attack

Authorities released a photo of the suspect captured by surveillance cameras

Police are looking for a suspect believed to be in his late 30s who allegedly made anti-white statements to a man on an MTA bus as it drove through Manhattan two weeks ago and then attacked him, leaving him with a fractured nose and eye socket. 

Authorities say the victim and suspect were on an M60 bus traveling on West 127th Street in Manhattanville shortly before 3 p.m. Aug. 30 when the suspect made anti-white remarks and punched the victim in the face.

The suspect fled after the attack. Police released a photo of him captured by surveillance cameras (above).
