A burning woman fell to her death during a fire in a townhouse in New Jersey, last night, authorities said.
Firefighters saw flames shooting from the roof and the windows of the Harmon Cover Townhouses in Secaucus when they arrived just after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities found the victim's charred body on the ground.
Neighbors say the woman was hanging out of a third-floor window, surrounded by flames, when she fell.
Most of the four-story building was destroyed. Investigators are working to determine what caused the blaze.
The victim wasn't immediately identified.
