Burglar Steals Mail From Same Manhattan Building Three Times in Same Week: Cops

A burglar stole from the same Manhattan apartment building three times within a week last month, police say.

All three burglaries happened from April 15 to April 21, according to the NYPD.

Investigators said the man would use a card to open a door that led to the Upper West Side building’s mail room in the basement.

In all three occasions, the man then lowered his shoulder to bust though the door, authorities said.

He would then rummage around the room, opening packages and envelopes and taking the stuff inside, officials said.

It wasn’t immediately clear how much the suspect got away with in the crime spree.

Video from the scene shows the man using a card to get through one door and then using his shoulder to break into the mail room.

Police Tuesday night released surveillance images of the 40-something-year-old suspect (above) in hopes of getting him off the streets.
