Burger King Worker Caught Selling Crack in Parking Lot

If the King has his way, this guy's going to jail.

Cops busted a Nassau County Burger King employee yesterday for dealing cocaine on the job.

Prosecutors say 41-year-old Michael Grandberry sold drugs to a man in the parking lot of the fast-food chain's Merrick joint. After the deal, Grandberry got into the passenger seat of a waiting car and drove off.

Detectives stopped the vehicle on Merrick Road and found the driver, 42-year-old Memphis Hightower, to be in possession of a crack stem and crack cocaine. Cops arrested the men, both of Freeport.

Grandberry was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and will be arraigned today in First District Court Hempstead. Hightower was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was released on a desk appearance ticket.

Hightower's due back in court Aug. 9.

It wasn't immediately clear how long Grandberry allegedly sold crack at work, nor whether he flame-broiled it himself.
