Masked Armed Robbers Order People to Floor, Steal $45,000 in Liquor From Brooklyn Store

Police are looking for three robbers in ski masks who were caught on camera tying up people inside a Brooklyn liquor store before stealing $45,000 in alcohol last week.

The suspects went into the Willmohr Liquor and Wine Store on Willmohr Street in Brownsville shortly after midnight Jan. 20 and asked a clerk if the shop sold liquor, the NYPD says.

When the clerk confirmed the store did, the robbers pulled out silver handguns and ordered everyone inside to get on the floor, police say. They bound the victims’ hands, legs and mouths with duct tape and then surveillance video shows them rifling through the victims' pockets.

No injuries were reported.

Police say that in addition to several cases of liquor and a roll of lottery tickets valued at $3,000, the robbers stole more than $500 in cash and two phones.
