A man was struck and killed by a tractor trailer while he was crossing a busy Brooklyn intersection Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The man was crossing Flatbush Avenue at Atlantic Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. when the truck, which was going northbound on Flatbush Avenue, struck him, police said. The man was crossing in between cars into the street when he was hit.
The victim, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation is ongoing.
