An teen girl was taken to the hospital after a man shot her in the face in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.
The woman was shot at 9:46 a.m. at Mermaid Avenue and West 20th Street in Coney Island.
She was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and is expected to survive.
Police are still searching for the gunman, who they said is a "known perpetrator."
