Suspect Sought in Crown Heights Rape

Police are looking for the man they say raped a woman early Tuesday morning.

Police are looking for a suspect who raped a girl in Brooklyn early Tuesday morning.

 
Authorities say the victim was walking on Buffalo Avenue in Crown Heights when she was approached by the suspect, who was armed with a knife.
 
The victim was forced into a nearby alleyway, where she was raped. She was later treated at an area hospital.
 
Police describe the victim as a black male, approximately 5'7"-5'9" in height, with a medium build and a dark birth mark on his lower right face.
 
At the time of the incident, he was described as wearing a black sweatshirt, black jean shorts and black boots. He was also wearing a black du-rag.
