A Brooklyn mother has joined the ranks of New York City's multi-millionaires, and all it took was a dollar and a dream.

Sharisee Frails, 42, was one of six newly minted Lottery millionaires Thursday. She hit the $13.5 million jackpot in December.

Frails bought her Quick Pick ticket at the Express Shop on Livingston Street, according to Lottery officials.

Frails, who remains in a wheelchair following a stroke in 2001, said she hopes the money will make her and her children's lives a little easier.

"My family and I have been maintaining for years," she said. "This win will allow us to live a more comfortable life now."

Frails said when she buys a new house, it will still be in Brooklyn.

Four other New York City residents received their Lottery prize checks Thursday.
