A 94-year-old Brooklyn woman who was allegedly beaten by her son last week died Monday, police say.
Dorothy Farrell, 94, was pronounced dead Monday, a week after she was allegedly attacked by her 64-year-old son, Mark Farrell, at their home on Burnett Street in the Marine Park neighborhood.
Police found the woman at the home with trauma injuries to her head and body on March 3. Her son was arrested at the scene on attempted murder, assault and weapons charges, police say.
It's not yet clear if the attack directly contributed to Dorothy Farrell's death. Medical examiners will determine how she died.
Attorney information for Farrell wasn't immediately available.
