A Brooklyn man is accused of raping a 78-year-old woman and stealing her cash and cell phones.
Police say they arrested 33-year-old Gerrard Pressley on Friday on charges including rape, burglary and sexual abuse.
Police say the woman was assaulted in her apartment in the East New York part of Brooklyn early Thursday morning. Police say the attacker took cell phones and cash from the apartment and fled.
Pressley was in police custody Friday night. A telephone number listed at his home address doesn't accept incoming calls.
