NYPD Clergy Liaison Stabbed in Brooklyn Heights: Police

An NYPD clergy liaison was seriously injured after being stabbed during an argument with an employee in Brooklyn, police say.

The clergy liaison, 30, was sitting in his pickup truck on Montague Street near Clinton Street in Brooklyn Heights about 1:30 p.m. Monday when he was stabbed, according to the NYPD.

The man was taken to the hospital and was listed in serious but stable condition Monday afternoon.

The suspect, 20, was apprehended by bystanders at the scene, police say. It’s not clear what, if any, charges he faces.

The stabbing is under investigation.
