Cops Seek Clues in '11 Case of Woman Killed, Stuffed in Cart at Brooklyn Beach

Police are looking for help identifying a woman whose body was found stuffed into a shopping cart and abandoned at a jetty on a Brooklyn beach more than two years ago.

Police found the body inside a plastic bag in the cart at Bay 20th Street and Shore Parkway, at Bath Beach, on July 17, 2011. Emergency workers pronounced the woman dead at the scene. She was never identified, and investigators ruled the case a homicide.

Investigators have said she had a fractured skull.

Police say the woman was between 18 and 25 years old, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 150 pounds. when she died. She was wearing "Only You"-brand blue jeans, a black belt with a silver belt buckle and a black summer blouse. She also had a gold tooth in the upper front portion of her mouth. Police think the tooth was made outside the United States.
