Brooklyn Dad Brings the Cute to the ‘Running Man Challenge'

A Brooklyn dad and his 9-month-old twins have taken the viral dance craze dubbed the Running Man Challenge to a new level of cuteness.

"I made this video to disrupt the social norms of fatherhood," said Tommy Cohen said Thursday. He was inspired after seeing the Running Man Challenge on Ellen

His video has more than 22,000 views on Facebook since he posted it Wednesday.

Cohen says he became a stay at home dad when his twins, Zara and Amari, were born. Now he's starting a subscription box service to deliver items for dad, baby, and toddler and help ease the transition to fatherhood.

The Running Man Challenge -- a social media dance meme set to the 1995 song "My Boo" by the Ghost Town DJs -- is said to have been sparked in the mainstream by Maryland basketball players Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley, according to Sports Illustrated.

Other college basketball teams caught on, and soon professional sports teams and players were doing their own versions.

NBC 4 New York's own Today in New York team wasn't immune to the craze, either. See video below.
