Brooklyn Car Wash Worker Struck, Killed: Police

The man was thrown from an SUV and then struck by it, police say

A worker at a Brooklyn car wash was struck and killed Sunday, officials said.

The man was driving a black Lincoln Navigator out of the car wash to dry it off, when the vehicle lurched forward into the street and was struck by an oncoming traffic. 

The worker was thrown from the SUV and then struck by it, police said. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital Center. 

The car wash is on Atlantic and Bedford avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Police are investigating.
