A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a van in Brooklyn Wednesday morning, police said.
The boy in Fort Greene was trying to cross Park Avenue from in between parked cars at about 6:45 a.m. when a 2008 Ford van going eastbound hit him at Cumberland Street, police said.
The van stayed on the scene and the boy was found on the ground unconscious when officers arrived. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
No criminality is suspected. Police are continuing to investigate.
