At least four people were injured when bullets went flying in Brooklyn just as Fourth of July celebrations were winding down, police say.
The bullets went whizzing just before 1 Thursday morning on Herkimer Street in Bed-Stuy after two groups of people had gotten into an argument, according to the NYPD.
Police said one group were hanging out when a second group of people walked up to them. Some sort of disagreement happened, which led to four people being shot.
All the victims were shot in the leg: A 27-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were all shot in their legs; a 19-year-old woman was shot in her right knee.
Officials said none of the injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
The suspect or suspects fled the area after the shooting. Police did not elaborate on their description.
