A Bronx mother sent a photo of her 7-month-old child with a knife to his throat and other disturbing text messages to his father after kidnapping the child, police said.
The 25-year-old father told police his estranged girlfriend, 20-year-old Alexis Jabbour, took their child after they got into a fight on June 19.
On Wednesday, Jabbour sent the man the alarming photo and other text messages regarding the well-being of their child, leading him to report her to child services, the NYPD said.
Jabbour was found with her son shortly after the two were reported missing.
She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment and aggravated harassment, police said. Attorney information was not immediately available.
