Police are searching for a suspect in a knifepoint robbery inside a Bronx building elevator.
The suspect, wearing a black hat and a black hooded sweatshirt, followed two women into an elevator in the building near Metropolitan Avenue and Purdy Street in Parkchester at about 7 p.m. Feb. 16, police said.
Surveillance video shows the man brandishing a knife while demanding their valuables.
Police say the victims handed over their purses containing money and then ran away.
No one was hurt.
