Police Seek Serial Groper Who Touched 7 Girls, 2 Women

Police are looking for a man who has groped seven girls and two women in the Bronx over the last few months, targeting his victims during the morning rush hour.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, attacked women and girls walking or jogging alone in Williamsbridge, Edenwald, Olinville and Baychester between Feb. 13 and June 11, according to the NYPD.

The two adult victims were 21 and 18 years old, police say. The rest were between 12 and 16.

Several of the victims were groped near parks and at least one girl was touched as she walked toward a subway station.

Police say the man struck twice on June 11, groping the 21-year-old woman as she walked on Fish Avenue at about 8:15. Fifteen minutes later, he touched a 12-year-old girl on Schieffelin Avenue.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
