Boy, 8, Arrested After Allegedly Slashing 9-Year-Old With Razor Blade at Bronx School: Officials

The victim was slashed in the back of the neck at PS 132 in Morrisania

An 8-year-old boy is facing juvenile assault and weapon charges after he slashed a 9-year-old on the neck with a razor blade at a Bronx elementary school Tuesday afternoon, officials say.

The child was slashed at P.S. 132 in Morrisania, and was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital to receive stitches.

The boy who allegedly wielded the double-edged razor was arrested Tuesday. His case will be heard in family court.

P.S. 132 made headlines last month when school officials canceled graduation because of widespread bad behavior.
