The Portal Bridge over Hackensack River has been repaired, and train service has resumed across the bridge, including Amtrak and New Jersey Transit.
The Portal Bridge was stuck open, causing delays for Amtrak riders between New York and Philadelphia, and for New Jersey Transit riders between Penn Station in New York City and Penn Station in Newark.
Service was disrupted, but has since resumed.
