Bridezilla alert! Hundreds of brides-to-be are expected to burst through the doors of Filene's Basement in Union Square Friday for the annual "Running of the Brides".
The event officially starts at 8 a.m., but brides-to-be and their teams have been known to show up the night before with sleeping bags and tents to be among the first in line.
More than 2,500 gowns, sizes 2 to 26 and from famous bridal houses, will be priced at $249, $499 and $699. These same gowns would go for $900 to $10,000 at bridal salons.
