A 41-year-old Connecticut man was killed by a brick thrown at the car he was riding in over the weekend, authorities say.
Police say Edy Morales was a passenger in the vehicle as it passed a crowd congregating on Jane Street in Bridgeport Saturday. The group began throwing rocks and other debris at the vehicle. A brick smashed the windshield and Morales' side window, hitting him in the head and killing him, authorities said.
Morales was pronounced dead at a hospital. It's not clear why the group was throwing rocks at his vehicle.
No suspects have been identified at this time. Bridgeport police ask anyone with information to contact Det. Heanue at (203) 581-5242.
