Boy, 10, Dies in Fire at Brooklyn Public Housing Complex: NYPD

A 10-year-old boy was killed in a fire Thursday night at a Brooklyn public housing complex, officials said.

The fire broke out around 9:40 p.m. on the third floor of the Pink Houses at 1257 Loring Avenue in East New York, police and fire officials said.

The fire was put out by 10:17 p.m.

It wasn’t clear how the unidentified boy died. Three others were injured, but they refused medical attention at the scene.

No further information was immediately known.
