Fans Experience “Hearing Loss” at Bon Jovi Concert

The sound at Bon Jovi's concert last night was "a little runaway."

It cut out for a full minute during his performance of "Runaway" at the New Meadowlands Stadium. The group played on, however, and the audience attempted to cover the lapse with their own singing, according to nj.com.

The concert was the first in the newly constructed $1.6 billion stadium that now owns the honor of hosting the 2014 Superbowl.

Bon Jovi didn't seem to mind the mistake, saying at the concert: "The New Meadowlands Stadium: I like it, I like it, I like it. Out with the old, in with the new! I get to be the first guy to get on a big microphone and say welcome to the home of the Super Bowl!"

Other opening-day problems at the station included malfunctioning ticket scanners and a delay in food vending lines because employees were still being instructed in the new equipment, nj.com reports.
