Authorities are investigating the death of a 63-year-old Bronx man whose decomposing body was found Tuesday when police went to check on a complaint about a foul order.
Officials say the Melrose man had been dead for about two weeks. There were signs of trauma to his left hand, police said.
The medical examiner will determine how he died.
Police sources told the New York Post a sword was found near the man's body and he appeared to have been tossed around his apartment.
