Bike-Riding Flasher Has Targeted Girls in Queens 9 Times: NYPD

Police are looking for the bike-riding flasher they said exposed himself to girls in Queens nine times over the last six months.

Police said the man approached girls in Ridgewood, Maspeth and Glenwood between May 11 and Thursday and exposed himself to 10 girls between 11 and 15 years old.

In each incident, authorities said that the man would say something to get his victims' attention before flashing them. In some cases, he'd ask the girl for a piece of paper and would expose himself when they went through a book bag to give him a sheet of loose-leaf.

And each time, police said the man rode off on his bike immediately after flashing his victim.

Most of the flashings were on different days, but on Thursday he struck twice in a five-minute span.

Authorities said the man is in his 20s and has been wearing a jacket with white stripes on the sleeves and shoulders. His bicycle has road-style drop handlebars.

Anyone with information on the man should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
