A bicyclist was struck and killed in midtown Manhattan on Saturday, authorities said.
Michael Mamoukakis, 80, was found on the ground with severe trauma to his body at West 29th Street and Seventh Avenue, police said.
An investigation found that a charter bus traveling southbound on Seventh Avenue collided with the bicyclist as the bus was making a right turn.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The bus driver remained at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
No arrests have been made.
This is the second time a bicyclist has been hit and killed by a bus in the same area. Earlier this week, Dan Hanegby, of New Jersey, was riding his bike in Chelsea when he was struck and run over by a charter bus.
