A mother and her three children were struck by a vehicle in Belmar, N.J. when a driver making a turn was temporarily blinded by the sun, authorities say.
The children were struck near Main Street and 13th Avenue. A baby suffered the worst injuries of the four, sustaining a broken nose and head laceration, authorities said. The mother and the other children suffered lesser injuries, including a child who was on a bicycle.
All four were taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center.
No criminality is suspected, but police investigation is continuing.
