84 Cases of Beer Worth $2,500 Stolen from Brooklyn Pier

Port Authority detectives arrested two men for allegedly stealing 84 cases of beer worth more than $2,500 from the beverage company they worked for near Brooklyn Bridge Park.
 
Authorities say 39-year-old James Shaw and 52-year-old Louis Telese, both of Staten Island, allegedly loaded their trucks up with the stolen cases of beer Oct. 24 and drove off. 
 
They were arrested Thursday in Brooklyn and charged with conspiracy, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
 
Information on attorneys for them wasn't immediately available.
