Authorities are investigating the death of a 3-month-old girl who was found unconscious in bed with her mother in their Bronx apartment Thursday.
Police say the infant, Zaanyah Allen, was pronounced dead at a hospital after she was taken unresponsive from the Jennings Street home in Foxhurst.
There were no outward signs of trauma to the baby girl, police say.
The medical examiner will determine a cause of death.
