An adorable pair of baby baboons celebrated their first birthdays with some delicious cupcakes at the Prospect Park Zoo this week.
Jabari and Azizi, the baby Hamadryas baboons at the Wildlife Conservation Society’s zoo, are continuing the celebration into the weekend with a weekend-long birthday party.
The public is invited to watch as the baboons receive even more special cupcakes created just for the occasion by local bakery BCakeNY.
The cupcake action starts at 3 p.m. sharp on both Saturday and Sunday.
Earlier in the day, you can stop by the exhibit for a chat with the keeper to learn more about the baboons (11 a.m.) and later enjoy monkey-themed arts and crafts in the Animals in Art area of the zoo.
