Babies "R" Us Employee Took Photo Up Women's Dress At Store Per Police

A company spokesperson said the suspect, 32-year-old Joseph Matthews, will no longer work at the Milford store. (Published Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016)

An employee of a Babies "R" Us in Connecticut has been arrested and police said he’s accused of taking a photo up a woman’s dress while he was at work. 

Joseph Matthews, 32, of Stratford, is accused of using his cell phone to take a photo up a woman’s dress without her knowledge while he was at work on Boston Post Road in Milford, according to a police news release.

Police later said Matthews works at Babies "R" Us on Boston Post Road.  

Matthews was arrested on Sunday and charged with voyeurism. He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court on Nov. 22.

"We have a zero tolerance policy for any alleged behavior of this nature and have moved to terminate this employee," a Toys "R" Us spokesperson told NBC Connecticut.
