Man Shot in Neck on Astoria Sidewalk: NYPD

Police are looking for two men suspected of shooting a 23-year-old man in the neck during an argument on a Queens sidewalk early Sunday morning, the NYPD said.

Surveillance video captured the apparent argument in front of a store near 28th Avenue and Steinway Street in the bustling Astoria neighborhood at about 4 a.m. 

The video shows the two suspects backing away from the victim, and one of the suspects hands a gun to the other. 

The man with the gun then fires several shots at the victim, video shows, piercing him once in the neck, acccording to police.

Both suspects ran away southbound on Steinway Street. 

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in critical condition, police say. 

The NYPD is asking the public to report any information pertaining to the shooting to NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
