Police say they have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with a shooting on a Brooklyn street last weekend that left another teen dead.
Jahiem Spruill was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly shooting and killing Iquan Williams,16, last Saturday night, authorities say.
Officials found Williams, pictured above, with a gunshot wound to the head in front of 1856 Prospect Place in Brownsville. Williams was unresponsive and declared dead on the scene by emergency responders.
Community leaders held a rally last weekend over Williams' death on the street where he was shot, calling for an end to gun violence.
Information on a lawyer for Spruill was not immediately available.
