Police are searching for an armed livery cab robber who took cash from a driver in the Bronx Monday morning, then fled on foot.

The robber, about 25 to 30 years old, entered the cab at 175th Street and Jerome Avenue in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx at about 6:05 a.m., police said. When he got to his destination, the robber showed a silver gun and threatened the driver.

He ran away with an unknown amount of cash.

Anyone who recognizes the robber in the surveillance photo is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. All calls are kept anonymous.
