Refrigerator, Oven, AC Units Stolen From Home Being Repaired After Sandy

A refrigerator, oven and four air-conditioning units were stolen from a home undergoing repairs after Sandy in New Jersey, according to police.

Police in Brick say officers were called to a home on Bay Way Sunday for a report of a burglary.

A man who keeps an eye on the home being repaired told officers he noticed a rear door was open.

Police found several of the appliances had been ripped off.

After an investigation, officers found the stolen refrigerator in another vacant home undergoing repairs, and arrested the contractors working on that home.

The men are all charged with burglary and theft.
