Plane Reports Fuel Leak Before Landing at JFK

An American Airlines flight from San Diego reported a fuel leak on the plane minutes before landing at Kennedy Airport.

American Airlines Flight 160 was close to landing at Kennedy at about 4 p.m. when the smell of fuel was detected in the cabin, according to a Port Authority spokesman. The Boeing 767 landed without incident, and the plane was towed to the gate where the 207 passengers were let off.

It's not clear what caused the fuel leak.
